Skye Rubel

Skye Rubel is an award-winning specialist in thought leadership and experiential programming, dedicated to curating premium events for CXOs. She has a proven track record of securing high-profile talent and managing complex logistics to deliver high-impact, results-driven executive experiences.

She currently serves as a Thought Leadership Manager for Google Cloud, contracted via an agency, where she drives the content strategy, agenda development, and full speaker acquisition cycle for premier global executive engagements, including the Leaders Circle program. In this role, Skye manages the acquisition of diverse, top-tier talent, including notable speakers like Adam Grant, Malcolm Gladwell, Katie Couric, and Alex Rodriguez, alongside global CXO customers and Google executives. Her programming focuses on creating sophisticated, high-value experiences that generate significant business results.

Prior to her current role, Skye spearheaded the experiential programming and talent strategy at Vox Media for renowned brands like Pivot, On with Kara Swisher, New York Magazine, The Cut, Vox, and Eater. Her role entailed crafting compelling content for the company’s flagship events and conferences, such as Code Conference, the Vox Media Podcast Stage at SXSW, and Pivot Live. Skye collaborated closely with eminent journalists like Kara Swisher, Scott Galloway, Nilay Patel, and Preet Bharara to curate impactful live journalism experiences featuring top executives, leaders, and celebrities. Earlier in her career, she served in event and communications roles at the Association of National Advertisers and The Association of Magazine Media, where she programmed the American Magazine Media Conference, hosting figures like Michelle Obama and Martha Stewart.

Skye’s achievements have been recognized with the FOLIO Magazine’s 2018 Rising Star Award and the FIPP & UPM Rising Star in Media, honoring her as an emerging leader in the industry. She is a proud alumna of the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia.
